These are the alternates. I don't think I have much ego about my painting. Still, it's humbling to be struggling with capture the shape of an apple. I feel like I've painted a lot of apples in the past 3 1/4 years. It's also part of adjusting back to painting from life.

I just need to keep at it. On the plus side, I am getting away from my old, goopy, paintbrush habit.
